Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how allthecodes handles information through the allthecodes.cc website, account features, waitlist, feedback forms, billing flows, beta downloads, and desktop authorization flows.
allthecodes is designed as a local-first AI coding workspace. The website and hosted account features are separate from the local repositories and workspaces you use on your own machine.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information needed to operate accounts and payments, and limited technical information generated when you use the website.
- Account and contact information, such as email address, authentication identifiers, sign-in state, profile records, and subscription status.
- Waitlist and feedback information, such as email address, category, priority, message content, app version, page URL, user agent, and signed-in user ID when available.
- Billing information handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We may store Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, plan names, subscription status, and billing period metadata.
- Desktop authorization records, such as authorization grants, desktop session records, account email, and subscription entitlements. Supabase refresh tokens remain in the browser and are not issued to the desktop app.
- Website analytics and operational logs, including limited usage events from Vercel Analytics and server-side request metadata such as IP address, route, timestamp, and error logs.
Local Workspace Data
The allthecodes website does not automatically upload your local source code, repository contents, terminal output, environment files, or local workspace data.
When you use the local allthecodes tools with AI model providers, MCP servers, repositories, terminals, or other integrations, the data you choose to send through those tools may be processed by the providers or services you configure. Review those third-party terms and privacy notices before sending code, secrets, personal data, or confidential information.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide, secure, and improve allthecodes services and product surfaces.
- Create and maintain accounts, sign-in sessions, desktop authorization sessions, and subscription entitlements.
- Process waitlist requests, feedback submissions, support requests, billing portal access, checkout sessions, and webhook updates.
- Operate, debug, monitor, protect, and improve the website, APIs, beta downloads, and account features.
- Prevent abuse, enforce terms, investigate security events, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
- Understand aggregate product interest and website usage without selling personal information or using it for targeted advertising.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, secure the product, and comply with legal obligations.
Account and subscription records are generally kept while your account is active. Feedback and waitlist submissions are kept while they remain useful for product operations. Billing records may be retained for tax, accounting, and compliance purposes. Desktop authorization grants and sessions may expire or be revoked according to the authorization flow.
Security and Your Choices
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for a developer tool and hosted account surface, but no internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.
You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information where applicable. You may also stop using hosted account features, revoke desktop sessions when supported, unsubscribe from non-essential communications, or control cookies through your browser.
Children
allthecodes is intended for developers and professional users. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes and Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. Material updates will be reflected by changing the effective date on this page.
